to commemorate the "Ski festival with heart", as the 2013 World Ski Championship has been labeled, this elegant 5-euro copper coin is a must for all winter sports fans.

After a period of 31 years, skiers from 70 nations compete in Schladming, Austria, for the first time since 1982. Shortly before the finish line in the stadium of Planai must pass under the impressive "Skygate" arch, which is the symbol of Schladming 2013 and the characteristics on the wrong side of the coin next to a competitive skier in race mode. Stylized snowflakes and the 2013 medal podium give the final touch to the dynamic design of the coin. The reverse of the nine-sided coin shows the circle of nine provincial shields around the denomination of 5 euros of the coin. A very special coin for what will undoubtedly prove to be an important sporting occasion for Austrian skiers.
