UEFA EURO 2020 was certainly memorable. For the first time, the tournament was postponed to the following year. Matches will be distributed in no less than 12 countries across Europe. As the tournament is a special occasion in history, it deserves something tangible to remember. The Royal Mint of Belgium therefore introduces the official 2.5 euro coin for UEFA EURO 2020.

The obverse of this € 2.50 shows the official UEFA EURO 2020 logo on a football pitch. The field will be the stage for a beautiful show in the months of June and July! On the reverse you can see the same graphic composition used for the 2021 numbers. The colorful coincard that encloses this sports coin really attracts attention, thanks to a playful mix of stylized football elements.
